Dragon Quest VIII Crash. HELP!

I'm playing DQ8 on PCSX2 1.2.1 and it runs smoothly up to now.
I am now at Godbird's Eyrie.
The game crashes everytime i try to proceed deeper into the dungeon. (instantly goes back to ps2 boot screen, choose memory cards screen)


i dont have any speedhacks turned on.

Here's my PC Specs:
CPU : Intel Pentium G4560
GPU : Intel HD Graphics 610 (Integrated GPU)
RAM : 8GB 2133Mhz

1.2.1 is unsupported.
please update pcsx2

Updated to 1.4.0, left the settings unchanged (all defaults)

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Sounds like your disc image might be corrupted

You're probably screwed, then.
What if you load from memcard instead of savestate ?
