Dragon Quest VIII Trode Cutscenes

Hey guys! I have DQ8 and the emulator works awesome! I really like how simple this emulator is (at least for me). The whole game has been flawless so far I've been playing at HD with no lag at all from between 45-60 FPS with no turbo or speedcheats. My only big complaint is when a cutscene with King Trode happens, the game then drops like to 30 FPS and Trode starts to talk like a turtle. Is there any way to fix or avoid this?

EDIT: Also can I think I didn't violate the 1st rule this time
But please if I do can you PM a message or something and explain it a little better? It's a little confusing.
