DragonBall Budokai Tenkaichi 3 *Serious Problem*

Hello there people.

I would like to report an issue with the game DragonBall Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3.

Some months ago the game was working perfectly getting solid 59,97 fps.Then i just stopped playing the game ,today just tried to play again and the fps were terrible 24,8-32 or so.

I use pcsx2 0.9.8.0 - r4600

PC Specs:

CPU: i7 2670QM 2.2Ghz(Only 55% used tried up to 80 but slight improvement not yet playable)
GPU: nVidia GT555M 3GB
RAM: 8GB DRR3
OS: Windows 7 Home Edition
Model: Dell XPS 17

I have no trouble running modern games and old ones too (not using the intel hd intergrated).

It would be really great if you could give some advice such as the best version of pscx for this specific game or some configuration.


Forgot to mention that i tried speedhacks,different directx,settings with no changes at all.

I use pcsx2 0.9.8.0 - r4600

Ok so i downloaded the version 1.0 and the game runs even slower on menu from 60 to 25 fps and 7-15 in the game.(Default Settings and my ex settings)

enable mtvu hack, set your windows power plan to high performance, and make sure you're running on ac power, not batteries

Game runs at 45 fps with max power now while it was able to run at 60 with 50% tried everything you said.

keep in mind 2.2 Ghz is quite wedak for pcsx2, BTW.

Well as i said it use to reach the required fps with 50% in the 0.9.8.0 some months ago , i tried using the turbo boosting in 3.1 ghz with slight difference

turbo boosting won't help since it will be effective only if 1 or 2 cores are active.
Pcsx2 will use at least 3.

nothing seems to be wrong in the log. What do the EE% & GS% say when you get slowdowns ?
