So, what about the "black screen" problem? I also don't know what to search and I've got the same problem. Furthermore my game also flickers while playing though my FPS is ok (50-60).

I had the PAL version which i converted to NTSC and that does not work; you will still get the flickering screen and other issues. Make sure you have the NTSC-U/C version (SLUS_216.78) and then use my configuration on the previous page, and see if that resolves the problem for you.

I've PM'd you my pcsx2, give it a go with your NTSC version of the game in Direct3D9 hardware mode; that sould work.

Hi guys
I'm new to pcsx2 and i was wondering if you can help me out

I am trying to play DBZ BT 3.
I tried pcsx2 0.9.6 and beta 1474 versions but i have the same results
between 10 and 30 fps

When i tried playing with GSdx i got 10 fps
and with ZeroGS i have 20 fps,but if i tweak it with some options from the emulator i have 30 fps,but everything around the characters is green
once i checked the Specular highlights ( make xenosaga graphics faster by removing highlights ) , with this option checked i get 60 fps but i dont have the hud anymore and the animations like the aura around the characters or the "waves" like kamehameha aren't showing anymore and i cant play like that

everytime i tried to play i used the speedup tweaks found in the config menu

My PC is
AMD Athlon 62 x2 5200+ 2,7 ghz
2 gb ram @ 800 mhz
ati radeon hd 2600 pro 512 mb

what can i say now....congrats to a friend of mine that has a ***** PC than mine much lower in performance than mine but he can run it on 60 fps

well, then you should try his pcsx2/plugin combination with the settings he uses. what are the specs of this "*****" pc, btw?

Intel core 2 duo 2,00 ghz
1,5 gb ram
geforce 8500 gt 256 mb

i tried the settings that he uses but has no effect

when it comes to pcsx2, then his system might not be that much worse than yours. pcsx2 is known to work best with the newer intel cpus and nvidia is still the safer choice for this emulator. how he is able to get full speed on this game with that system, however, is beyond my knowledge, is he using some evil frameskipping/speed hacks combination and older plugins like gsdx 0.1.4?
