Drops in FPS and maxed EE

PCXS2 1.6

A few days ago I was running pcsx2 flawlessly in 1440P 60 FPS. The only thing I have done since is download Duckstation to get that up and running. I go to play NHL Hitz 2002 again on pcsx2 and my EE is running at 100%. My fps was also constantly dipping down to 30 from 60. How does me getting Duckstation mess with pcsx2? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

i don't think it's related to duckstation

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
