Dynasty Warriors 3 Decent speed + cheat questions

First of all, I've spent a lot of time configuring pcsx2 to try and get Dynasty warriors 3 and dynasty warriors 4 empires running smoothly and I'm finally getting some playable speeds, and my cpu clock speed is 2.80Ghz, anyone else been able to get around 40fps when looking at as many troops as this?

i've also been having problems with adding cheats to my games because I keep on getting these TLB miss errors and at the end it says load then next time store and so on, so how do i actually get them to work, and the program im using for the cheats is cheat converter

I keep on getting in the console red text saying TLB Miss with store and load at the end.
Even if i make the cheat converter go to extended, the red text goes away but the cheats still won't work, id greatly appreciate if someone helped!

That seems about right, only I think I may have had a little better speed using GSdx on my 2.8Ghz C2D (DW3). Hard to say for sure, though. What with the exact amount of troops on-screen and the draw distance due to the camera angle being such major variables with these games.

Well its an improvement for me anyways cos the old fps I used to get with my old config was 17, lol.

What's really annoying me atm is what I posted above about the problems with getting cheats to run, read above to reply back

You should really wait at least a full 24 hours before bumping your thread IMO. Give everyone a chance to actually get around to coming online and looking at the forums. You never know if the one who has your answer just logged off for the day, ya know?

Me? I can't really say I know much on cheats/pnach. If I remember right, there were certain codes that were glitchy or buggy. Maybe you're trying to use some of those...? See, I don't really know all the details...

The codes I'm wanting to use is codebreaker ones from the codetwink site for DW3, im using omniconvert to convert them to RAW, and im using pcsxce to convert and save them. Whenever I do, and load up the game I get endless red text in the console, which results in them not working
