EE% Very High how do you lower it?

When i played kingdom hearts 2 final mix it player pretty well throughout the whole game ranging from 55-60 fps but after the roxas battle in the final world my fps dropped dramatically and my EE% rose to the 90s and 100%

My setting are basically default
my the EE speedahck is 3
the VU one is 2
and the first 4 speedhacks are checked marked
everything else is basically default.

Just get a decent pc.
Judging by your specs, your pc is definitely too weak to avoid struggling with this game.
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

It would help if you told us your specifications but, really the only way to lower it is to get a faster CPU.

Clockspeed too low on the CPU to avoid struggles with this game. Only way to stop the EE from being choked is to get a better rig. Wink

I also have a similar problem. When i play virtually any game i get high EE readings from PCSX2, but my fps is somewhere around 200-300. I don't know if that's due to unrestricted fps limitation or my hardware, but i have low GS and VU readings, each around 20%, with that strangely high EE at 99%. I'm using GSDX with SSE4, an i7 920, and an nVidia 640. It's been like this since 0.98 so could be the beta versions have a bug with this too.

If you have the frame limiter off, the game will run as fast as it possibly can. Thus it's completely normal to have 99% EE with frame limiter off, since PCSX2 is emulating the EE as fast as it can.

Getting 99% ee without frame limiting is normal. Without frame limiting the emulator is going to run as fast as the hardware will let it. In your case your hardware is hitting is limit at 200fps.
