Emu crash
#1
Hi everyone
I'm having a major problem getting the emu to run at all. As far as I can tell I can't get into the game yet, it crashes after the bios part, where it shows the Playstation 2 in white, at that moment the screen kinda gets stretched vertically and it crashes. The error I'm getting is Microsoft C++ Visual Runtime error stating : This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

I am running Windows 7 64bit, have the runtime installed, tried both the x86 and the 64x version. My specs:
Intel i7 920
6GB RAM
ATI HD5800

I didn't know that PCSX2 has a separate x86 and x64 version.

Are you using a really old beta?

Any game basically. I've tried the 0.9.6 beta as well as the Wx version. As for settings pretty much every possible combination for graphics, sound pad and CD plugins.

He's talking about the VC runtimes. There are both x86 and x64 versions.

Also, I seem to remember having this problem, as well. I believe I fixed it by reinstalling my graphics card drivers and updating DirectX.

Want to stream your games? Let me know and I can help you get set up with Open Broadcaster Software.

Not sure what could be the problem, I have the newest driver installed, the newest version of DirectX as well but same thing.

Here's the log btw if it helps:

Enable the Tri-Ace gamefix, I'd suggest you use the latest public beta as the version you have can be buggy and currently not supported.
