Emulate opening disc tray?

I am trying to race wanderers in Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 and there is a trick to forcing wanderers to race you if you open the disc tray, highlight the wanderer then wait about 5-10 secs then close the disc tray and the race will start without having all the requirements. Is there anyway I can make the game think I opened the disc tray?

Took me like 5 tries to figure it out but that works, thanks.

I didn't have a 'no iso' option but a 'no disc' option but im sure that's what you meant.
