Emulationstation+ PCSX2 2.0

HiFolks I hope I´m right here.
Already searched but could not find a solution.
my system is a windows 11 computer with emulationstation installed.
what I wanted to know is how can I update from pcsx2 Version 1.XXX to version 2?
As I try to avoid changing anything regarding the configuration in emulationstation I wanted to make sure to do this in a right way.

You have to reinstall pxsx2 from scratch
