Emulator freezing

So I installed the latest version of the emulator last night and was able to play a game (Wild Arms 3, if it's relevant at all) just fine for several hours. Today, I tried to start everything up again and found the emulator would hang indefinitely when I tried to boot the ISO. It would do the same thing when I would try to access plug-in settings as well. I tried a fresh reinstall, which unfortunately didn't help.

Any ideas about what could be causing this issue for me?

Using a BIOS file with PCSX2 which you have downloaded from the internet or from a PS2 console you do not own is illegal. You must own the console the BIOS file came from (even if it's broken) to be legal.
