Emulator keeps crashing...

I'm playing SMT: Digital Devil Saga 1, and I just went to the Karma Temple for the first time. But whenever I try to go back to Muladhara (a different area) the emulator crashes. I can go to the other areas just fine, just not that one. Any idea what the problem might be? I've read that other people have played through the game with an older playground version.

No Speedhacks, GSDx 890 (MSVC 15.00, SEE2) 0.1.14 for graphics, SPU2-X 1.1.0 sound, Gigaherz's CDVD .0.7.0, DEV9null Driver for DEv9, USBnull Driver for Usb, FWnull Driver for firewire. Haven't changed anything else.
