Emulator says insert a disc when using an iso

So I tried to play the Legend of Spyro 1, and upon selecting boost iso it opens with the ps2 startup saying it needs a disc. I've searched through many forums here and external sites and found nothing.

what if you use your original dvd instead ?
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go
