Yes, but still the OP should download and install the last directX, it has components dating 2010, PCSX2 installer send directly to MS downloading page and it will load only the later part, it should be no more than 20 or so MB.
Lesson, do not rely on the directX from games to be actualized, they are the same the game was developed with.

well he shouldnt have both w32pthreads v3 and v4... thats why i suggest that. well driver/hardware failure can happen also

Try updating your DirectX with both the web installer and the redist just in case you can't use one or the other.

they doesnt create problems but that makes it obvious that he has mixed different versions of the emulator...

just uninstall everything pcsx2 related and install again the 0.9.7 beta full installer
