A laptop doesn't use a normal Celeron 420, too much power draw.

i get the exact same thing, no matter how i configure it and my system is considerably faster than his. im running vista 64 bit and i got a AMD athlon 64 X2 3.1Ghz processor 4Gb ram and a video card that can play crysis on medium to high settings. any help?

1) Install drivers for your videocard
2) update DirectX did you try those things yet?

got all my drivers, and my graphics card is direct X 10 compatible. it does tell me to update direct X though. ill check it out and see if i missed something

wow i guess i did miss something it seems to work now... i just clicked the link that popped up witch is strange cux i did that before and it still didnt work. well thanks for the help!
