i did motioninjoy but keep on getting Error code:0X-1ffffdb9 i've tried watching videos but most won't work.please help

imo neither are good options i find that just as bad motion joy, both got pick up as spyware/malware last time i used them then again there arnt many options to use DS3/DS4 etc on pc. it why i just use PC gamepad with XInput/DirectInput. less problems less hassle.

Then again maybe that change in the 4years it been since i tried either

like i said last time i tried using it 4 years ago and back then both malware bytes/spybot s&d picked it up as malware, and i spent hours manual removing things from it.

Maybe it change since i used it i dont know but neither will ever be put on pc again.

simpler to get pc game pad that is and XInput/DirectInput

Btw it being open source dont make immune to spyware/malware. either way both modify the bluetooth stack/drivers make happens to disable all other bluetooth device from working and only the controller worked last to i used it too. cause all my bluetooth headset stop working after install ds3 worked though

But likes said it also only option to use ds3/ds4 controllers.

Yes it does stop bluetooth from working for any other device - the instructions say so(only if you install the bluetooth part however).

The compiled version of an open source program could contain spyware/malware. But the sheer fact that it's open source means the source code is extremely unlikely to(People would be able to see it).

Anyway it's not spyware/malware or anything like that. Do you really think we'd host it if it was?

Another thing, Bluetooth is unaffected if you installed jhebbels's version of the DS4 xinput wrapper.

wasnt so when i last used it, 4 years ago ,it option and one of the few if people dont want to get XInput/DirectInput game pad for the pc.

Doesnt change the fact when i used 4 years ago it was pickup as malware/spware by both malware bytes/spybot just cause its now dont mean at some point it was which was long before you time.

not saying it bad now i just say from my experience it simpler and easier and much less of hassle to get a XInput/DirectInput pc game pad. mostly cause they work the moment you plug them in to the pc unlike ds3/ds4 controllers

It better option then motionjoy none the less.

As a heads up Pinnacle Game Profiler is also a very good choice if you do not mind paying for it... I Personally bought it and use it as it just "works".. I will provide a link if needed but you can just google it...
