And if you use some non defalt speedhacks then disable them and try again

To summarize...overclock the cpu where you can (if you can't afford new socket/motherboard/cpu), replace the dinosaur of a gpu, use mtvu hack, and use EEtiming and VU cycle stealing and experiment with results. If all else fails try this.
