Every game lags my gpu when i save or load

This is what happens and as you can see it is a very significant slowdown,i am on the 1.6.0 version,my cpu is the ryzen 7 3800x and my gpu is the rx 570 4gb

i don't have an hdd,is it truly the backup before saving option?

Actually I think that's normal
PCSX2 pauses the emulation when creating a save state

I change the sstates folder to my ram drive and there was not much difference

i believe you misunderstood me,i don't mean when i am saving a save state it lags,i mean when i save or load from the memory card

Well you did not say anything about memory card
Is it slow just for a second or it stays slow

until it's done saving

1.Are you using 8mb card or bigger(with bigger cards it takes little more time)
2.You can try the FolderMemoryCard feature

Config=>Memory Cards=>Select your card=>click on the Convert button=>set a name and choose 8mb=>convert
Select that new memorycardfolder and click on Inject and choose Port 1
