I can get Fistful of Boomstick working on PCSX2 v1.2.1 with some tweaks, Run in d3d11 4x native (Custom res means right third of screen is black) in HW hacks I run, Alpha, alpha stencil, nvidia hack (All 3 checked) and sprite half checked (Square fill in of box).  Game runs fine for me on that version.

A different story on PCSX2 v1.4.0.  No matter what settings, plugins, hacks I use when the level load bar hits 100% the emulator crashes every time with the generic "PCSX2 Has Stopped Working"

PCSX 2v1.4.0 is extremely unstable on my system and even working games crash the emulator after around 15mins of play. (No Overclocking on my hardware either)
