Experiencing dips in speed with a certain game.
Hi all new here so I hope this is the right area for help.

Ive been trying to play tiny toons Defenders of the universe and I keep Experiencing dips in speed , sometimes the game runs very well, then when I'm in a level with more enemies and characters on screen it slows down A LOT. It's not normal game slow down it definitely looks and sounds like emulation slow down.
The list on here said the game runs fine , so I'm guessing it's something on my end , I have tried some YouTube speed set up videos but They are not changing anything at all , I still get slow down in the exact same places , Does anyone on here have this game and managed to get it running fast all the way through ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
