Extracting Textures from Games. Help Appreciated.

Hello, I was wondering if there's a way to extract textures and 2D sprites from games. Stuff like HUD and the like.

I have PSCX2 0.9.6 and I can run the game in question(which is Kingdom Hearts 2) very nicely, although I tend to use Maetel v1.5 more often. I wanted to have that Sora avatar below your health. I tried taking a screenshot, but it's always blurry.

So, is there a way to extract the raw 2D textures from the game?

The next best thing is to have the emulator display 2D parts as sharp as possible.
