EE and VU sliders 1 notch to the right should get this game running in your rig on steady 60fps, a few points in Rabanastre may be slower not because the graphics but the sheer amount of concurrent AIs running from all those NPCs (a CPU overload in this case). Anyway, you could try moving the VU cycle stealing one notch more (or EE Cyclerate, experiment and observe), be aware it can cause lags at some points or make the sound "chopper", so you should return it once those (CPU rogue) critical points are passed.

Thanks for the help I'll keep an Eye, what I've noticed so far is that the fps drops more during audio dialog then when im exploring
