You are using an ancient version of GSdx, you should use the one included in the 0.9.7 beta release and press F9 to switch to software renderer to see the FFX-2 videos properly.

with that CPU, I recommend SSSE3 (even SSE4 ?)
software mode runs slower, but with it, the FMVs will render normally (even if they will be slow)
Once the fmv finished, switch back to hardware mode with F9 key

I'm sure many people have thought about it, implementing it however is not that simple matter I believe and it's just much more simple like this since you barely ever need software mode except for some games, for example this game only really needs you to use software for the FMVs so press F9 when one starts and press it again when it's finished so you go back to hardware, if you don't care about the FMVs you can just use hardware all the time and skip them.
The best thing would be to find a way to fix whatever it is that makes it look bad in hardware and stop relying on the software renderer no? but devs could have probably do it by now if it was so easy
Oh and BTW while playing the FMVs on that game it doesn't matter if you use hardware or software, they'll be just as slow.
