Directx is up to date, so is my chipset, bios, gpu and audio drivers.
And as for my plugin setting... mainly default, no hacks, just been tinkering with the GSdx settings, with no luck, i can get the game to load using ZeroGS, though it's really buggy and slow... missing textures and the videos wont play atall, screen just goes white and the game skips to the next scene.

Does pcsx use OpenGL for anything? cause i've been having some issues with the latest forceware opengl drivers with some games that use mainly opengl rendering. Like immense CPU load, GPU crashing and overheating.

EDIT: Yeah, think im just gonna settle with the 0.9.6... there has been no flickering whatsoever after that scene i mentioned before, and the blurryness can be fixed just by moving further away from the monitor lol, and since the game runs perfectly otherwise i dont see any reason to go through all the trouble to get 0.9.7 to work. But thanks anyway for your efforts people.

Go to \inis folder, open up GSdx.ini and change allowHacks=0 to allowHacks=1.
Now you change this video setting. Happy

This isn't a glitch or anything, it's supposed to look like that on ps2. It's meant to be some kind of depth of field to hide aliasing.

Had the OP issue with blurring, no glitches and this worked for me with the double / blurring issue. Thanks for the help!
