FFX Cutscene freeze

Hey all,

So I'm playing through the FFX HD version on the 1.2.1 version PCSX2. When I get to Kilika and see the cutscene with Yuna's sending ritual, at the very end of the scene, the visual cuts out and all I have is the sound of the ocean waves.

Computer stats are:
AMD Phenom II X2 545 Processor
3.00 GHz
4.00 GB RAM
64-Bit Windows & OS

I put a save state a couple seconds before the point where it stops, it does the same thing with a hard of soft save

Set EE clamp mode to Extra and VU clamp mode to Extra+Preseve sign and then reload from a memory card(not a save state).

playing FFX HD on pcsx2 let alone ps2 would be feat in self considering it for the PS3.

Anywho I played FFX many time and that scene played find always, no mess with defualt settings altest i never had too.

But loading from save states can introduce bugs and glitchs which why I almost never use them.

It worked! And honestly I used a save state and it still worked. What did changing those settings do?

^ It changes how certain special types of numbers the PS2 uses are "converted" to PC numbers.

The fix is on the wiki (this page) under known issues. That's where I got it from. Though I also recently played FFX and used it myself.
