So about to do what you asked, then i noticed i wasnt able to run PCSX2 due to compatibility. So i downloaded a new one and noticed there's a very recent update (which is just today, i updated my emulator yesterday as well) just copied the bios, memory card and the ISO of FFX International (Japan) played it with everything default (since this is a fresh installation). Tried to replicate the issue and it still exist. After that i closed the emulator, checked the logs on the folder you mentioned and there were no logs.
