that's the third thread I've seen you post about sse4 which can't be used in amd cpus. Somehow I get the feeling that you are just posting to increase your post count and get more stars (I used to do that beforeBiggrin)

Why would he use d3d9 when he has a monster video card that supports dx11 and would be way faster and less glitchy. (Believe me I played with a dx9 radeon x1650 pro and I get purple characters, shadows, everything which is solved in dx10 (in Star ocean 3 though not in ffx but still dx11 is better than dx9 or dx10))

Please don't hurt me becaus of pulling a very old thread back to top.

Is there any hint since the last post to get FFX FMVs free of lags?

I've tried different settings, software mode for FMV too, but they won't play back smoothly.

The game itself runs very smooth and the CPU and GPU load is on a very low level.

Specs:

Intel Core i7 CPU 870 @ 2.93GHz
RAM 8,00 GB DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 with 1GB DDR5
