Good day everyone,
Well I only just discovered yesterday the pnach trick to gaining natively(sort of) 16:9 aspect ratios from games.
Well I seem to be stumped, was trying it out on FFX PAL using the code that Asmodean had posted on this thread: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-PCSX2-Wid...me-Patches
Well I have never used or tried to use pnachs before so I may have done something pretty wrong. I created a text file in the cheats folder called A39517AB.pnach
All I pasted in this file was this:
comment=FF10-PAL-Widescreen(16:9)
gametitle=FF10-PAL
patch=1,EE,20314300,word,3F2AAAAA
//patch=1,EE,20314304,word,3F8CCCCD
I then turned on cheats in Pcsx2 then switched on the game and also switched it on again from a past SVN without the pnach file. Comparing them I noted no difference.
Where am I going wrong?
I'm using r5253 btw.
Thanks for any help.
