FFX Problem.

Sorry, Im kind of new to ps2 on pc emulation and i figured i'd ask the pros out there to help me out ^^.

My Current Build :
Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit
AMD Athlon™ 64x2 dual core processer 5200+ 2.77ghz
2.5 Gigabytes of DDR2 800 Memory
Nvidia Geforce 8600GTS 256mb

I'm requesting help with Final Fantasy X. The problem being that I am not getting a playable framerate (20-30fps) when i have seen people with worse computers run it perfectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated whether it be help with configuring or any other tips to increase preformance.

Have you tried using the latest public beta (r1888)?
Are you using GSdx in DX10 Hardware mode?

Try ticking native resolution and turn on some speed hacks.

Try the latest public beta and use the later GSdx plugin that comes with it. Also use Dx10 Hardware mode and native resolution.

You might want to burn a .iso image of the game using ImgBurn and then use the Linuz ISO plugin to load it. It should give better results over reading from disc.

Try the P.E.Op.S. sound plugin, it made a huge difference for me, the other sound plugins seem to lag. After that I was able to max up the graphics and dont even need to use any speed hacks.
