FFX, Reversed Analog control bug

I'm at the Zanarkand Cloister and for some reason my analog control is reversed, this has happened before in Cid's airship but I thought it was an isolated bug and didn't bother to ask about it since that section only lasted 30 seconds but it has now come up again in the Zanarkand cloister of trials. Do you know how to fix this?

I'm using a sixaxis controller conneted by USB using the latest motion in joy drivers with analog profile 1 connected.

Set round mode to negative (or nearest don't recall) in EE and VU options
