FFX Slowdown Please help

Hi, Im new to the forum and to PCSX2.

I have been reading alot of fixes for FFX slowdown issues but none seem to be working for me.

I have nearly perfect fps during regular play with occasional slowdown.
and extreme stutter and slowdown when fights start (glass breaks and spells cast)

I created my ISO with magic ISO and my comp specs are..

AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-Core 2.20GHz
8 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8300
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

Im using version 9.9 SVN 5347
Im using GSDX 10 For video

I have played around with them forever and really hope someone can help me out on this.

Wow that helped alot, thanks!!!!... the only slowdown still occuring is for some reason when fire is cast it slows down significantly. this early in the game nbd however when firaga starts up im worried it will get worse any reason this is happening or any way around that??

I think fire and demi type spell slow downs are known problem

As said by vsub, that's pretty known here, and with your current GPU, you'll need some patience to play it...

You might want to consider upgrading it...
