FFX freeze after blitzball movie

First off, congrats on all the work you put in on this.

I have been searching for hours and hours but I can't find a solution to get past the well known freeze after the first cut scene of the blitzball match.
Is my only option to get a save game after that point and load that?
If so, how do I do this. I know there are programs to do this on PC but I don't know how to do it on Mac. If anyone has such a save game it is most welcome too.

My specs are:

MBP Intel Core 2 Duo 2,53 Ghz 4GB RAM with GeForce 9400M

PCSX2 setup:

Latest package
ZZ Ogl 0.21.204
ZeroSPU2 Playground 0.4.6

I'm also having this problem, any help is much appreciated.

Also the movie was very grainy and out of sync with the music / sound. Is there a fix for that as well?

EDIT: I just read on a different thread that this would be fixed in 0.9.7, looking forward to it!

Hm, there's no fix for 0.9.6 at the moment but I haven't noticed the graininess of fmvs.
