FFX help please!

Hey, I'm rather new at PCSX2. I'm running PCSX2 on my quad core machine.

My machine could run FFX rather fairly with 60fps most of the time. However, at time the game seems to slow down but the fps remains at 60.

I'm truely confuse about the cause of the problem.

PS I have most of the recommended speed hack turn on.

any suggestion and help would be much appreciated.

Saiki is right, the reported symptom suggests too much speed hack, VU cycle stealing is the one that gives that lag depending on the load. Reducing it a bit can help but may traduce in low FPS all the time.

So the information he asked may help to identify what hacks could be better and their amount.
