FFXED: Final Fantasy X Save Editor
Can anyone help me use this with a Switch save? I'm lost on what code I'm suppose to delete on a switch vs. a PS2 or PC.

To use:
1. Use FFXED to open your virtual memory card and edit a FFX save. In the PCSX2 menus, go to PCSX2=>Config=>Memory Cards to find the location of the virtual memory cards (Mcd001.ps2 and Mcd002.ps2). In Windows, this is usually the "Documents\PCSX2\memcards" directory. Make sure PCSX2 is not running when you edit your memory card! Otherwise, your memory card may become corrupted!
2. mymc is required for FFXED to work with virtual memory cards. You will be prompted for the location of mymc.exe the first time you try to edit a virtual memory card. Here are some DLL files which may be required for mymc to work.

Troubleshooting:
- If FFXED.jar doesn't start up when you double-click it, first make sure you have the latest version of the Java Runtime Environment installed on your machine.
- If you have installed Java and FFXED's JAR file is not associated with Java and some other program runs when you double-click it, run Jarfix.
- If mymc complains about missing DLL files, you can download them here. Extract them into the same folder as the rest of the mymc files.
- If you edit your save file and your edits do not show up when you play the game, check the following:
1. Make sure PCSX2 is not running when you edit your save file.
2. Make sure you are not loading any savestates through PCSX2. You should start the game normally and load your save file normally in-game.
3. Verify that you are editing the correct memory card. In the PCSX2 menus, check that PCSX2=>Config=>Memory Cards is pointing to the correct memory card directory.
4. Verify that your edits are being saved. After saving your edits, close FFXED and use it to open your save file again to make sure that the edits are still there.
- If you have further problems, post in this topic and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

I don't know if this is still being maintained, but-

Why is it complaining that it can't write in system32? That... shouldn't be happening, I'm reasonably certain? Actually it's highly suspicious, but I also wouldn't expect a moderator for these forums to be posting malware. I've pointed it toward the appropriate memory card and the mymc utility. I don't know why this is happening.

Does anybody still have the image files for the Sphere Grid indices? I can only open the link for the Expert Grid. The other files are showing 'Access denied' on Google Drive.

The image links should be fixed now!

Apologies I don't mean to go a bit off topic here but I had to find a save file for after the fight with seymour about mid way through the game since mine was corrupted but the save file has every character's attributes completely maxed out. Does anyone have any recommendations for how to edit it to be more in line with the progress of the game as I can't remember my own attributes I had?

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to "complete" the butterfly catching minigame? For instance, i can "complete" chocobo training by using ffxed to give my chocobo races best times, then just hack the sun sigil in. racing her one more time will remove the guy blocking the way to caladbolg. However, hacking in the saturn sigil will not remove the butterfly catching minigame. is there any answer for this?

I've used FFXED and I've tried converting 4 of my PS2 saves for Switch but I have problems.
I've converted 4 .psu saves and imported them in the switch using Checkpoint.
The problem is only 2/4 of them are loading and when I click on the other saves it takes me back to the title screen as if I pressed the back button.

The working saves are completely identical to the others except they've been made in the final part of the game (inside Sin), so I don't know what's wrong.

Do you have any suggestion?

Thank you
