FFXII- improve sound/graphics
#1
I've got an iso file of FF12 running pretty well, but I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to maximize the graphics and sound. It all works pretty much perfectly, but I'll give a couple examples of the problem. I'm running PCSX2 0.9.6.

Graphics
- Sometimes frame rate gets driven way down, like during boss battles, or when there seems to generally be a lot going on.
- Sometimes when something "pops up" on the screen, like the item bag an enemy drops, it appears like a blurry/pixelated mess.
- Looks kind of polygon-y in general. See HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE.

My settings are HERE, with none of the Advance Options checked.

Sound
- Sometimes, especially during cut scenes, the speakers crackle the way the would if your car speakers were blown out.
- Sound seems to be about a half second behind the gameplay.

My settings are: Time Scaling/Real Time mode checked. Recording/Mute/Enable logging unchecked.

PCSX2 specs HERE. Everything else is default setting.

Comp Specs
- Macbook Pro, 15-inch, Late 2011
- Processor - 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7
- Memory - 4 GB 1333 MHx DDR3
- Graphics - AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512MB
- Software - Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4

I'm using the default plugins, didn't download anything special.

Thanks for any help!

PS - Any recs for a decent game controller?
