FIFA 2005 Glitchy T-shirts

Steps to get this to work properly:-

1. Download latest Dev build from here

https://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/

2. Disable mipmapping.

3. Set blending to full (required for correct field).

4. Go to gamefixes and enable gif fifo fix for fifa street 2.

It seems only the mipmapping off is needed (to avoid flickering) and blending accuracy set to basic at least (to fix the field issues). Does somebody remember what was causing that rainbow shirts issue in the earlier PCSX2 versions?

Edit: GIF FIFO fix is needed on the older versions. On the r1768 it does work with this setting turned off.

Enabling Bilinear (forced) will also corrupt textures.  Make sure that is disabled no matter what other settings you use.  Same thing happens with MVP 2005 iirc..

Hey prafull and Agrippa,

I tested it both on 1.6.0 and the newest beta version. Turning on GIF FIFO FIX seems to work well on both versions. The flickering has stopped, very nice. But the soccer players still have black pixelated arms, see this pic: http://prntscr.com/1wnybvp. Setting the blending to basic or high doesnt seem to make a difference for the black pixelated arms, neither does the anisotropic filtering (tested at Off and x16). I'm now using the 1.6.0. version because of the stable release and it allows me to set it on OpenGL (Hardware) instead of only OpenGL and because the issue occurs at both versions (black pixelated arms).

These are my current settings now: http://prntscr.com/1wnzhpz.

If anyone knows how to fix the final issue, the black pixelated arms, that would be very appreciated.

Thank you guys for the help so far.

I don't get pixelated arms and sorry by blending unit high I meant full (got confused) to get correct ground textures.

Prafull,

May I ask you what settings you are running in the graphics section? Can you printscreen those? I wonder what is different from mine, since you dont have pixelated arms.
If the settings are exactly the same, it might help to tell which version you are running.

My full settings:

Thank you.

I'm trying to figure out what it is. Apparently a speedback is enabled? Maybe it's part of the FIFO fix, but would it help to turn that off maybe? http://prntscr.com/1wu6ati.
Anybody help please?

Software mode no luck either as you guys saw in another thread. Maybe it would help if you guys posted your complete settings so I can test it myself in the emulator.
