Hi! I have this little issue with MK: Shaolin Monks, everything apppears to run perfectly, except FMVs (at least the first one), which have no sound and run slower than normal. I'm attaching my settings. I don't know if this info is useful but I also tried the PS2 core in RetroArch (I think it's Play), and I have the opposite problem there; the graphics of normal gameplay are botched, but the FMV runs perfectly. I don't seem to have this issue in other games, I saw MGS2 ubstance intro with no problem, SH4 opening and beginning credits scene. I would appreaciate any help.
Thanks!

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

Ok, I'm new to this, but I think this is it:
Code: FMV on
Suspending single plugin: GS
Saving GS
Closing GS
Recovering single plugin: GS
Opening GS
Current Renderer: Direct3D9 (Software mode)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (25.21.14.1935)
Loading GS
I think that's when the FMV began.

can't tell about the audio, but why are you using D3D9 renderer ?
I suggest you use latest git build, btw
what if you give a try with your original disc instead of iso ?

I don't even know what D3D9 is, I just followed a tutorial to set up PCSX2. How do I change that and the git build?

which tutorial ? official one ?
link to latest GIT : https://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/
D3D9 is in gsdx settings. you select your renderer
tried using original disc ?

I think I used the official one, it says with D3D9 the emulation speed is boosted significantly. Which renderer would you recommend for me instead? My specs are Core i5 8400, GTX 1060 6gb, 8gb RAM.
Can't test my disc because I don't have DVD drive, lol, but I did try the rom with another emulator (a PS2 core in RetroArch) and the FMV runs perfectly in there, but the graphics outside of the FMV are all botched, so I can't use that.
