And with auto-gamefixes 'disabled', it crashes whenever I start any mode.

firstly, we do not support SVN builds.

secondly, doesn't that make you thing that, this is why the game fixes were on in the first place? Would you rather the game crashed and did nothing, or skipped the FMV's? Think about it.
