I think Tallbender was talking to me.

According to that, the B960's GPU runs at 650Mhz, or 1200 Mhz in Turbo mode. It's possible it's wrong, though.

wait, I've read somewhere here that AVX mainly focuses on software mode in GSDX

so would it be better if I switch it back to SSE 4.1??? and yes i'm using HW mode most of the time...

I think SSE41 is the best all-round solution. Personally, I'm limited to SSSE3 because my CPU is an E6600.

Yes AFAIK the AVX version ONLY benefits SW mode. But I'm not sure if it includes the SSE4/SSSE3 optimizations or not....

I will list here as well my concern, computer with same specs:

Acer Aspire V3 with Windows 8
4GB DDR3 Memory
Intel ® Pentium ® CPU B960 2.2GHz processor
Intel ® HD Graphics card
Dolby Digital Home Theater Audio

My frame rate lags during cut scenes with more moving objects on multiple layers. drops to about 30 - 20 fps then jumps above 90, then when people leave off the screen, it returns to normal around 50 - 59 fps. Used the SEE 4 version and got same issue again, any suggestions?
