Fast Boot closes pcsx2
#1
I'm using version 0.9.8 on vista and after selecting my iso through configuring Linuz Iso CDVD 0.9.0, I click system and after I select fast boot, the emulator freezes and closes itself. How can I fix this? i'm new to pcsx2 btw

Is there any specific reson you're using Linuz ISO instead of the ISO Selector?

Alright, could you post the content of the logs\emulog.txt file after you get the problem?

What game is it? Other games work correctly? What PCSX2 settings? Plugin settings?

How you made your iso, maybe it's a bad rip? But generally with your specs, you should forget about playing any ps2 games untill you get a decent upgrade. You have single core celeron and some intel onboard graphic + windows vista which being slowest/worst windows ever eats most of that. That's just not enough to play games on pcsx2. Not worth the effort into trying to run it/waste space on ripping iso's unless you really wish to see a a game title lagging at 10fps after 10 minutes of loading.

Bios Found: Japan v01.00(17/01/2000) Console <-- pirated bios (likelyhood of you owning one of these is so ridiculously slim) and PCSX2 does not support this version either as it is so exceptionally buggy.

Rip your real ps2 bios then come back, there are guildes in the FAQ and such for the proceedure.
