I have mad catz xbox 360 controller and when i try play ff-12 with it camera starts spinning itself..i have tried all possible fixes i have found so long but none have worked...sometimes spinning goes away for like 10 minutes but then it comes back...i can stop spinning when i just touch right analog stick and it may work a while or not... but its get really annoying fast...some1 here must have had same problem with this game.

In window's search box type joy.cpl
pick your controller from the list (if you have multiple connected)
select properties
on the settings tab select calibrate

odds are the right analog stick is either not calibrated correctly or it is slowly dying because Mad Catz makes really bad controllers.

i have tried calibrate it many times but i gave last shot and did something differently..i only moved x-axis small amount to left when calibrating since stick somehow rotate little left itself..its been working 20 mins so long...maybe theres hope.

Likely the controller needs scrapping. Like TkSilver says MadCatz don't make the best controllers. Better off buying an official Microsoft one, the one I've got I've had for 7-8 years and it still works perfectly.

Well, I hope you get it sorted.  Smile  Personally it would drive me nuts and would much rather spend a bit on a quality controller than have to deal with that.

Use pokopom input plugin and put your thumbstick deadzone to 0.2. The current default input plugin isn't very good.

If you're using ds4windows, you can also do this from there.

Hi i have a similar issue with camera spinning on the pcsx2 also .
It doesnt happen with shadow of the colosseus, nor on any games on steam so far. Just in kingdom hearts 1 or final mix. Ive tried different sources of this iso, i am using a ps3 wired controller. It only stops when i hold the R2 button down. Thanks.!
please join the link to see the video screen capture of the spinning camera.
