Final Fantasy 12 international Help

I got ff12 international english patched as an iso and psx 1.1.0. I have my controller set up but when i try to play it, nothing happens. The emulator goes right back to the device selection screen. The bottom of the screen also does not show what button does what, for example: X(blank but should say "select" etc). I really want to play this game but i dont know what to do help!

Try fast boot instead of full boot. If it's still going back there, then your ISO was likely patched incorrectly.

I changed the BIOS to USA and the game launches but now the game is going at fast forward and my analog sticks are not working when they did when it was set to europe.

Definitely a bad patch then.
How did you apply it ?
Which patch did you use ?

i got version pre patched from the pirate bay. It was really well recieved.

I fixed the fast forward issue but now i still dont know why the analog sticks wont work. They worked earlier so i dont know what is wrong.
