Final Fantasy VII Dirge Of Cerberus Scanlines?
#1
I've tested this on hardware mode and software mode, but the problem only persists in hardware mode. On hardware mode I can run the game just fine at 60fps though some sky artifacts are present, but when it goes into an in game cutscene, a lot of black scan lines appear making it a pain to look at. In software mode I lose quality and speed hardly making it above 40fps but the cutscene scanlines aren't present. Has anyone found a way around this? I've tried using speedhacks but they haven't proved to solve the problem. If needed here are my computer specs.

As far as I know there is no fix for this other than software mode. Have you tried setting extra rendering threads?
Config>Video>Plugin Settings. Set it to 3

By default it is set at 16 but I'll see what happens when it's lowered to 3
EDITED: That managed to fix the fps problem in software mode. I just wish that there was a better fix for hardware mode

Lol it's definitely not 16 by default.Blink There isn't currently but you should keep an eye on the latest SVN's.

Cant remember where to find it, though.

Here you go: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Question-...pid1753003 (DONT use it with other games)
Make sure you also turn on Allw 8-bi textures for speed

Any chance of a hack for this in the hack section? Plugin doesn't seem to work in the newer pcsx2 versions.
