Final Fantasy X....
#1
Ok, So I had FFX playing fine back in December but my computer crashed and I sent it in. Got it back and finally got around to installing 1.2.1 now I get lag during battles Ex: Gravity spell, Summons. also notice random lags while walking. The game worked fine before I updated the program. all I did then was tick skipdraw of 1 and it solved it then. Anyone help me figure out how to get it to work on 1.2.1.
I tried Speedhack and Frame Skip both made the game run uber fast.

Are you using EXACTLY the same settings?

Are you upscaling?

I don't know anything about the settings I didn't have to change anything but the Skipdraw before...But I know not to mess with to many settings so I left them alone (except for speedhack and frameskip) and came here.
So I would assume they are the same.

Try disabling 8-bit textures if it's enabled.

Also make sure you have HW hacks enabled too.

You said it ran fast with speedhacks. If it running too fast with them enabled try hitting tab or F4.

The Multi-thread one the fps goes up to almost 70 when I cast demi then drop down to 39 stay there till the spell ends then goes back to 60 now. it is less lag but still there

I enabled HW hacks and I am not seeing a difference.

Sorry I meant to say disable it.

Make sure your laptops power plan is set to performance and that it's plugged in.

That makes it go up to almost 100 fps..... with speedhacks on it goes to about 70 and the music sounds about 2.5-3 times faster than normal
