Also, ,make sure you don't use any cheats at all before atleast you complete the first mission of the game after you reach Celcius for the first time because there is an error on the first mission of the game if you use cheats that will cause the game to hang or being unable to get a mission so you will get stuck forever in Celcius. Just enable them on the second mission. But remember, don;t just disable the cheats and load a game, disable the cheats and start a brand new game till the second mission.

Download this program: http://www.slavasoft.com/hashcalc/
After it's installed, open it and check the mox next to "SHA1". Drag your FFX-2 iso into HashCalc and it will spit out some text next to the SHA1 Label. Make sure it says cdedba9ebb6b02ec2b473305bedf8eb036019413

Your ISO image SHA-1 hash value should match one of these, depending on your game version.
The first parameter is region (PAL), the second is country (ES = Espanã = Spain), the last is catalogue (SLES-51819), as there could be many releases in the same country. You can see your game version on PCSX2 log window's title bar. Check and make sure your ISO catalogue and hash matche one of these. If the hash doesn't, your ISO image is a modified/hack/corrupted iso.

an undub would more then likely change he hash code so that could be the issue and undubs are known to have problems running in PCSX2 as well.
Also a translation would chage it as well like if your using a version released in japan with extras that was never relased in the usa or pal and only has japanese and you wanted to play in english. |
