Press F9 while the FMVs are playing (switches to software renderer) and press it again after to return to normal.
Not much you can do about the speed but overclock your CPU, you'd need ~4GHz to get full speed on the FMVs.

What video card do you have ?
Your Atholon II dual core @2.2ghz needs to be overclocked to about 3.2-3.5ghz to come close to kira106's Intel Core2 Duo E8400 3.00GHz, and even then fmv's will not run full speed. but if im not mistaken Athlon II P340 is laptop cpu, so overclocking that high is not an option

hi guys. i have the same problem as the topicstarter have and u recommend him to overclock his Intel Core2 Duo E8400 3.00GHz
up to 4GHz
My CPU is Core2 Quad Q9300 2.5GHz and the question is how can i get the full speed in videos?
should i overclock the cpu too?
if yes - pls tell me what freqency i must reach because the default cooler on cpu is so small and i afraid this cooling sistem will not help cpu to survive a huge overclock(((

You will need high clock speed to get decent speed in those videos (3.8GHz+ which is not recommended to try without very good cooler and probably can't get up to that much with that CPU anyway). I'd just recommend to watch them in youtube or somewhere else, it's a total of 11 FMVs in the whole game.
