Final Fantasy X (Music Issue)

I finally got my settings to where I want. Hooray! I only have one problem now. The in game music doesn't play like it should. Every sound is there from the attacks, choosing and scrolling, going to the menu, and saving. I just can't hear the music from some reason. I know it's playing too, because every once in a while it comes through for a second or two. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My settings:

-GSD x10
-P.E.Op.S SPU2
- Linuz ISO

-AMD Phenom 9750 Quad Core, 2.432 Mhz, every box checked, Limit FPS
- EE sync hack default cycle rate

Hm hanen't used PeoPs in ages...any particular reason you prefer it over SPU2-X,since the latter also has effects processing like reverb which makes sound quality quite better (although needs some extra resources)
Make sure interpolation is at none and reverb at none. Also try checking Thread mode

yeah I have to say too it must've been over 500 revs since it last beeped on anything for me including FFX and FFXII

The problem is solved. It was just a temporary problem. The sound is fine now.
