I personally have two computers, and ripping ffx on one generates the issue, and the other doesn't. The iso image generated by the second is a bit bigger then the first, and I know the "Look, Auron!" crash is caused by it jumping off the disk at that point.
I'm assuming the second computers drive rips a bit more accurately then the first, as the software's the same in both cases...

well I think I'm giving up now...
I just tried running it directly from iso -> same crash
And I tried both dvd/cd plugin but still -> same crash
I hope you can address that error and fix it in later builds. I cannot believe that both isos I have are damaged.

We can't fix what we can't replicate...I've never had the error ever with PCSX2 and neither have the rest of the team members. So we can't debug it like this...

This error happened to me too, but it was in 0.92, when I switch to 0.94 the bug was gone, so I think that the problem might be your ISO.
