Final Fantasy X save gone

Hmm,the card is damaged...don't think there is a way to get your save.
Do you have a save state or you used only the normal way to save your progress?

The card contains saves for FFX,CodeBreaker and ARMAX

I only used the normal way of saving. I was only 4 hours into the game, so if it can't be recovered, then so be it.

I tried to copy the save from the card using hex editing but without success.
Guess you have to start the game again or use some of the saves at gamefaq
