Well. PS2 support ended on Jan 2014.

No other way to test online, is there? It's just stuck on menus?

this game and all of it's expansion packs should be removed from the compatibility list since the game is untestable because the servers required to play it were taken off line years ago.

What about private servers ?

That doesn't work. There's a DNAS protection in place that PCSX2 can't bypass afaik. You'd have to patch that up somehow first. So right now the only way to access private servers is via your actual PS2.
Intel Core i5-4670K @ 3.40GHz | 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3-1866 G.SKILL Sniper Series
AMD Radeon R9 280 @ 3 GB | 120GB SSD | Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (SP1)

so what's the deal? do we remove it? move it into a separate "untestable" category? pray that a private ps2 server opens when official PC servers are still available and almost no one plays the ps2 console so there is basically zero demand for such a server?
